When Bill Flynn started out as a financial advisor in the 1980s, financial planning wasn’t popular yet. But Bill knew he could make a difference in the lives of his clients by serving them using his strengths and knowledge of the financial industry. From day one, he saw his relationship with clients not as a transaction, but as a partnership.
When Nathanael joined his team in 2002, he also brought his financial skills and love for connecting with people.
In 2015, we officially became Flynn Wealth Partners—more than just Michigan financial advisors, but a team committed to Bill’s goal of partnering with each client to create plans that give them and their families a clear path forward. After Bill’s retirement in 2024, the team continues to do the work that he set out to do—make a difference in every client’s financial life.
And while our team members each have their own unique gifts, none of us are content standing still. Three of our four team members have earned their CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and we all continue to dive into current financial resources and talk to other experts in the industry.
Everything we do—from our personal connections to our continued learning—is for our clients. To us, “Partner” isn’t just part of our name. It’s how we do business.
Nathanael Flynn is a second-generation financial advisor and serves as Managing Partner of Flynn Wealth Partners. He joined his father, William (Bill) Flynn at Michigan Financial Group in 2002. In 2015, the father-son team founded Flynn Wealth Partners.
